ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare invoices and reconcile settlement documents for events (concert, shows, sports, etc.) for multiple venues.
• Assist with accounting close process adhering to tight deadlines and account reconciliations.
• General ledger accounting – prepare journal entries including event income and expense, accruals, payroll entries, outstanding bank transactions, and ticketing reports.
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and general ledgers.
• Assist with invoice preparation and accounts receivable monitoring across all venues.
• Assist with year-end audit.
• Record and post payments, apply cash receipts and oversee all deposits.
• Maintain and audits box office ticket sales reports.
• Assist with monthly sales tax filing.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information is required
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff including management and clients
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision

• Two-year associate’s in accounting or B.S. in Accounting or a similar combination of education and experience
• Thorough knowledge of general and cost accounting
• Excellent math skills and attention to details
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with Sage 50 a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational ability
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
• Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information is required.
• Ability to work under limited supervision and to interact with all levels of staff including management.
• Ability to work irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
• Must have professional attitude and appearance
