Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This is a full-time, evening shift opportunity with a 36-hour per week commitment, working 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

As the only hospital-based, 24-hour emergency service serving the beach communities, Baptist Beaches delivers comprehensive, high-tech medical and surgical care close to home. Our Emergency Department plays a vital role in caring for a diverse patient population with a wide range of medical needs.

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will:

* Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients with acute medical, surgical, and emergent conditions

* Assess, monitor, and reassess patient conditions and responses to treatment

* Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and plans of care

* Collaborate closely with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams

* Coordinate care with ancillary and support services

* Advocate for patients and ensure a positive patient experience

* Participate in staff meetings, shared governance, and unit-based initiatives

* Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred

* Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred

* Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) Preferred

* NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred

* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred

* Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred

* Licensed Registered Nurse Required
