Full bonus is based on several factors including averaging a minimum of 35 hours/week. Employment includes use of the Town of Jackson exercise gym.

Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit (START) Bus is hiring qualified Transit Operators for 40 hrs/wk and for fill‑in/part time for the winter season November 29, 2025 – April 12, 2026. Paid pre‑season training starting on November 12, 2025. $27.59/hr, DOQ.

• Primary duty is the operation of a bus in order to transport and assist the general public along a fixed route. Routes include transporting skiers/snowboarders/employees/guests to and from the Town of Jackson and Teton Village, transporting locally employed and visitors throughout Town, fill‑in shifts transporting commuters from Teton Valley Idaho and Star Valley Wyoming, and fill‑in shifts serving our most vulnerable with ADA service.
• Operate an updated fleet of diesel powered buses, motor coaches for commuters, hybrid diesel/electric buses, and smaller gas powered shuttle buses.
• Electronic data/pass scanning on all buses.
• Provide courteous and responsible service to the public.
• Participate in pre‑season training and maintain a required driving record.

• Class B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsement.
• 5 year driving record required.
• Ability to deal politely, effectively and responsibly with the public.
• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.

Rental housing available on a first‑come, first‑served basis for employee + spouse/partner. Housing is available as of November 1, 2025.
