• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment, job sites, and traffic.

The Operator safely and precisely runs heavy machinery for excavation, grading, utilities trenching, and heavy civil earthwork, contributing to accurate site preparation and infrastructure installation.

• Operate equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, or skid steers for digging trenches, excavating foundations, grading surfaces, back filling, and material handling.
• Perform precision grading, slope work, and compaction for roads, pads, and utility lines.
• Trench and install underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drain) while avoiding existing lines.
• Load trucks, spread materials, and shape terrain to plans/specifications.
• Utilize Topcon GPS machine control systems (or similar GNSS‑based technology) for automated guidance, real‑time grade checking, and accurate execution of design surfaces on compatible equipment.
• Conduct equipment inspections, greasing, and basic maintenance.
• Read grade stakes, blueprints, and work with survey teams for layout.
• Maintain safe operation around crew and utilities.

This position is classified as seasonal, with duration dependent on project workload, weather conditions, and operational needs. Seasonal employment does not guarantee year‑round work.
