The primary role of the SD/PA is to create and oversee the “meat” of the documents needed to execute a design. They coordinate and pull together the documents per the schedule laid out by the PM. They are typically the main point of contact for the consultants.
What you will do:
- Lead the technical design aspects of larger and more complex projects.
- Production work throughout all project phases.
- Act as an expert resource in project design, reviewing 3D work, hand drawings, and modeling produced through all project phases to ensure design integrity
- Analyze and summarize project code and zoning, using expert familiarity with building codes.
- Maintain project schedule and project construction budget.
- Client, agency, and consultant meetings as required.
- Coordination and production of bid and construction administration documentation.
