Heavy Equipment Operator - 2nd Shift Production

Our company continues to grow and expand, which presents many new opportunities. Our Jackson, WI plant is eagerly seeking Production Associates with heavy equipment operating experience to join our team!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
• Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings
• Operating a front-end loader to transport bulk materials
• General cleanup of work areas
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)

Successful team members will have:

• Excellent communication and organization in a fast-paced production environment.
• Candidates with previous experience in a farming environment, operating forklift or front-end loader, or granular batch mixing
• Ability to follow written & verbal instructions
• Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives
• The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
• Pass a post-offer drug screen and background check
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
• Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably
• Ability to work 2:15pm-12:45am Monday-Thursday (seasonal overtime)

• Base hourly wage starting between $20.00 per hour or more based on experience.

This position is in a manufacturing environment with multiple buildings. The essential functions of this position will require walking outdoors in all weather conditions to other buildings on the grounds to attend meetings, take breaks, and perform various tasks. Walking distance from the primary workspace to other buildings can be up to or exceed 200 feet away. This position will require standing, walking, lifting 50lbs, stooping, climbing, seeing, hearing, reaching, reading, tolerance to cold or warm temperatures based on the weather conditions outside, and use of PPE including but not limited to wearing safety toe footwear and safety glasses.
