Location: Jackson, Tennessee

Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full Time Warehouse Sit Down Forklift Operators.

Hourly Pay: $17.25 per hour
Overtime Pay: $25.88 per hour

Day shift (2‑2‑3 schedule) rotating weekdays and weekends 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Team player and able to work in a diverse environment
• Create and maintain professional relationships with peers, supervisors and customers
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Must be punctual with a good attendance record
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• High degree of initiative
• High accuracy, even under pressure
• Lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Stand for long periods of time
• Follow health and safety methods
• Available to work on a flexible schedule
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick and pack items, audit inventory, assist in tote induction, staging of products, and load/unload trucks
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform additional duties as assigned
