Forklift Operator Warehouse 1st Shift at Ryder Supply Chain Solutions
Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Position DescriptionRyder is immediately hiring Permanent Full Time Warehouse Sit Down Forklift Operators.
CompensationHourly Pay: $17.25 per hour
Overtime Pay: $25.88 per hour
Day shift (2‑2‑3 schedule) rotating weekdays and weekends 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Team player and able to work in a diverse environment
- Create and maintain professional relationships with peers, supervisors and customers
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Must be punctual with a good attendance record
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision

- Lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities- Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Accurately pick and pack items, audit inventory, assist in tote induction, staging of products, and load/unload trucks
- Manage day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
- Perform additional duties as assigned
