Roadside Technician Commercial Tires – Jackson, TN

Position at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. The role is an emergency response tire technician for semi‑truck fleets, dispatched to customers’ locations to repair or change tires. During periods with no service calls, technicians help with shop maintenance and general duties.

Includes a mandatory on‑call rotation. Technicians must respond to after‑hours service requests – evenings, weekends – with a high acceptance rate. All after‑hours calls are compensated at a premium rate with guaranteed minimums.

• Respond to roadside emergencies for commercial insurance clients.
• Perform dismounting, mounting, and repair of commercial tires.
• Execute match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, wearing proper PPE and using tire cages.
• Mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform general duties as needed.

• Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Minimum age 21 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous commercial service tire experience.
