Assistant Managers are expected to lead and ensure teams perform effectively, deliver strong customer service, manage shift operations, and uphold company policies.

Job Requirements and Duties- You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
- Set the example and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from your crew.
- Other duties include staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, adherence to schedule, maintaining a perfect image and standards, delivering great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

GeneralJob Duties For All Store Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility regularly.
Orientation and on-the-job training provided.
Communication Skills- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders; strong eye-hand coordination for rapid, precise movements.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must navigate adverse terrain and delivery sites while carrying product.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions when performing outdoor tasks.
- In-store temperatures range from cool to hot, with potential temperature changes in the work area and outside.
- Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust exposure.
- Cramped storage areas including walk-in coolers; hot oven surfaces up to 500 degrees or higher; sharp edges and moving parts.
- Delivery activities may involve varying conditions when delivering products and couponing.
- Talking and hearing on the telephone; near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks; depth perception; freezing or night vision for driving.
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently or with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make judgments.
QualificationsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS include, but are not limited to the following:
- Standing for most tasks; varied walking surfaces; work surface heights between 36" and 48".
- Walking for short distances; delivery personnel may travel between store and delivery vehicle and to customer locations.
- Sitting for paperwork in an office setting.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds; cases lifted from floor to shelves; stacking up to 72" high.
- Carrying large cans and ingredients; transporting pizzas and beverages during delivery; carrying trays and other items as needed.
- Pushing/pulling trays; climbing stairs or ladders when needed for prices, walls, or maintenance; occasional stairs during deliveries.
- Stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, reaching; frequent use of hands for shaping dough, using utensils, and handling boxes.
- Driving deliveries within the designated area; multiple deliveries per shift possible.
- Hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination and tool handling (pizza cutter, peel, etc.).
- Familiarity with various machines, tools, and equipment used in the store, including computers and calculators.
Job Duties
- Deliver product by car to customer locations and distribute promotional materials.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle for delivery purposes.
