ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via our myTime mobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule.
Attendance and reliability are essential. You may be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term training schedule. The myTime app is used to pick up shifts once offered.
ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT
Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. Knowledgeable about in-store and digital services and solutions that drive adoption and guest loyalty. Deliver fast, accurate service at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pickup, and drive up while maintaining quality.

Typical Day – Responsibilities
- Deliver the guest service experience by following the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you perform daily tasks
- Assist guests to solve their specific needs
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues and improve guest experience
- Thank guests for shopping at Target
- Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
- Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- Inform guests about brand launches, store activities, and events
- Explain and assist with Target Loyalty programs and enrollment; direct to fulfillment services
- Demonstrate wallet usage and Target App features
- Process returns following policies, escalate with leaders as needed
- De-escalate situations and recover guest shopping experience per policy
- Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Stock supplies during store hours and stay available for guests
- Follow safety policies and report hazards
- Support guest services including OPU and Drive-Up orders, and comply with relevant laws
- Support cash office processes as needed
- All other duties based on business needs

Basic Requirements and Workplace Basics
- Accurate cash handling and support for cash office as needed
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely (up to 44 pounds occasionally)
- Flexible to pick up shifts to meet store needs
- Must respond to shift opportunities and work at least one shift within 5 months or employment may be terminated
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
- Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift
