Job Opportunity – Med Surg/Telemetry RN – Tennessee

Start Date: March 23, 2026
Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM; 5:1 patient ratio; 16 weekend shifts per contract (4 per 4-week schedule)

Highlights:

• Busy Med Surg/Telemetry unit with 41 beds and daily census of 36 patients
• No on-call requirements; float to similar Med Surg/Tele units or low-acuity ICU as needed
• Epic EMR system with 36-hour orientation provided
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• 13-week travel assignment with adult and geriatric patient population
• One pre-approved time-off period available (must be requested at time of submission)

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year Med Surg/Telemetry experience required; travel experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required and must be detailed on profile; competency exam must be passed
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only);
  Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac care, neuro patients, wound care, and IV management
