• Experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring Epic proficiency within the last 12 months and active TN or Compact RN licensure.

• Fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• 13-week contract
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• No on-call requirements
• Floating may be required to other MS/Tele units or low-acuity ICU
• Charting system:
  Epic (required)
• Cardiac monitoring, telemetry on-unit monitoring, and emergency response are core components of this role
• Preferred skills include management of dysrhythmias, pre/post cardiac cath, IV insulin protocols, pre/post neurosurgery, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury, substance withdrawal, traumatic brain injury, ortho trauma, peripheral nerve block catheters, and total joint replacement
• Required clinical skills include cardiac monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, CVA care, telemetry monitoring, use of rapid response/code teams, feeding tube care, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure management, IV therapy and phlebotomy (including ports, central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral lines), heparin and PCA protocols, surgical drain management, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care, isolation precautions/PPE, and wound care/wound vac
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• No block scheduling or schedule change requests will be accommodated
• Previous travelers returning to this facility should be disclosed at time of submission
• Any known background issues should be disclosed at time of consideration

• Active RN license — TN or Compact license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA only), ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic experience within the last 12 months required
• Must pass an Epic competency exam (one attempt only)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Teaching or community hospital experience preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• All RTO must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submission
• Men must be clean-shaven to pass a respirator fit test — failure due to facial hair is not accepted
