Manufacturing Associate; Partition Trainee

Summary

Entry level for Panel Finishing Cell and Solid Finishing Operations. Check for quality escapes and pack out components for shipment to customers.

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Understanding of Bobrick’s 4 Grade Quality System; ability to distinguish and explain between levels of defect
• Follow and maintain all aspects of quality
• Follow the rules of engagement
• Open bales, crates, and other containers of packing materials
• Communicate with the partition shop, Supply Chain (scheduler), and the Shipping department regarding orders, hardware, and inventory
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code
• Operate a tape machine to secure packages/pallets
• Use pallet banding and wrapping equipment to package components for shipment
• Operate a miter saw to modify packing material and check and complete paperwork prior to shipment
• Learn the entry-level operation of the panel finishing machine
• Learn entry level operation of the Hot Press
• Learn entry level operation of the Glue Spreader

• Monday - Friday (Facilitate Training) - projected timeline, 60 days
  • 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

• $18.40 / hour rate
• $1.50 / shift differential hourly rate
