Forklift Driver and Material Handler; Day Shift

We are seeking Forklift Operators/Sanitor for Full-Time opportunities in a facility located in Jackson, TN.

Pay: $18 per hour (Bi-Weekly)

Shifts:

12 Hour Shifts

Hours:

Day Shift 6:00 am - 6:30 pm

Weekend work will be required.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Fork Lift Certification preferred

• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Comprehend and follow instructions
• Understand production processes and systems
• Licensed Operation of Forklift
• Understand Safety and Food Quality standards

• Operating a forklift within facility production lines to various trailers and compactors
• Assure that trailers are not overfilled or exceed weight limits
• Handle trailer and compactor exchange
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated A-Feed areas (including floors, assigned lifts, compactors, and totes)
• Strictly adhere to lockout/tagout procedures
• Sort and bail common recycle materials
• Gather materials from around facility to a common location
• Maintaining and following GMP protocols
• Helping maintain a Safe and Food Safe environment through teamwork and proper food sanitation training
• Keep a record of scrap for accountability purposes

• Must pass drug screen and background check
• A strong work ethic
• The ability to work alone or within a team is a must
