Eddleman & Eddleman, Inc. is a boutique, multi-division professional services firm providing integrated financial advisory, accounting, tax, and private investment services to business owners and other affluent clients. Our firm includes a fully functioning CPA and accounting practice serving individuals and businesses, a Registered Investment Advisory division, and an internal private equity and venture capital platform that supports ongoing, tax-advantaged private investment strategies.
We operate as a small, highly skilled, cooperative team, offering professionals meaningful exposure to complex planning, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and long-term career development in a high-trust environment.
This W‑2 role is designed for an early‑career advisor who wants hands‑on mentorship, increasing client responsibility, and exposure to integrated planning (investments + tax + alternatives). You will work with a senior advisor while developing the skills to manage relationships and contribute to firm growth.
Why This Role Is DifferentYou will work directly with senior advisors and CPAs in a small-team environment where learning happens through real client work, not layers of hierarchy. We believe in apprenticeship-style development, where responsibility increases as competence grows.
Real Exposure, Not Narrow TasksEarly in your career, you’ll be exposed to integrated planning across investments, tax strategy, business entities, private investments, and charitable planning. Our goal is to help you understand how the whole financial picture fits together.
Sales as ServiceWe view business development as an extension of service and stewardship, not pressure‑based sales. Over time, you’ll learn how to build professional relationships ethically and responsibly with clients and business owners.
Long‑Term Thinking, Not a Short‑Term GrindWe’re not looking for someone to fill a seat for a year or two. We’re looking to invest in someone who wants to grow with the firm and develop into a trusted advisor over time.
Faith‑InformedOur culture is informed by a Judeo‑Christian worldview emphasizing integrity, stewardship, and service. While we serve clients of many backgrounds, these values shape how we approach advice, relationships, and long‑term decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in building and implementing comprehensive financial plans (investments, retirement, insurance, tax integration).
- Support portfolio analysis, research, rebalancing workflows, and performance reporting.
- Support efficient client onboarding and contribute to refining firm workflows as we scale.
- Coordinate client implementation and ensure smooth integration across planning, investment, and tax services.
- Prepare client meeting materials, maintain CRM records, and follow through on action items.
- Dedicate ~20% of time to outside‑office development: meet prospective clients, attend community/professional events, and cultivate centers of influence.
- Contribute to workflow refinement, compliance adherence, and cross‑team collaboration.
We advocate an evidence‑based, diversified, and primarily passive approach for public markets, with selective use of individual equities or options to meet specific client objectives. We also integrate alternative assets (e.g., private equity and real estate) through approved custody platforms for retirement and taxable accounts, coordinated with our CPA team to highlight after‑tax advantages. Our recommendations are guided by a Judeo‑Christian worldview emphasizing ethical stewardship, prudence, and long‑term perspective.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Series 65 (or ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe).
- Progress toward CFP®, CFA, or CPA/PFS preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and client‑service orientation.
- Comfort balancing analytical tasks with relationship‑building and professional presence.
- Base salary: $40,000–$50,000 (capped), based on licensing, experience, and independence.
- Performance‑based bonus tied to new‑client development, firm profitability, and AUM growth.
- 401(k) with employer contribution, paid holidays and vacation, professional‑development support (Series 65, CFP®, CFA, CPA/PFS).
- Standard hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with reasonable flexibility and comp time in peak periods.
You’ll receive close mentorship from an experienced advisor, progressive client exposure, and opportunities to assume greater responsibility over time in a stable, growth‑minded boutique RIA.
