Grounded Financial Planning is an independent advisory firm based in Jackson, Tennessee, serving 90+ households across seven states. We specialize in values‑based financial planning for families, with an emphasis on retirement planning and supporting multiple generations through different phases of life.

The Associate Financial Planner Internship is a paid, 10‑week summer program designed to provide hands‑on exposure to real‑world financial planning. Interns will work closely with our lead advisor during one of the firm’s busiest and most educational times of the year: annual client reviews.
This role is ideal for students considering a career in financial planning who want meaningful experience, client interaction, and practical skill development.

- Hybrid: Work remotely on Mondays and Fridays
- Week 1: Orientation and onboarding
- Weeks 2–3: Training and education
- Weeks 4–9: Client‑facing work as annual reviews begin
- Week 10: Final project and presentation
- Students pursuing their CFP® certification or considering a career in financial planning, finance, or a related field
