Role and Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments and safety deposit rent; sells Official Checks, completes CTRs as needed; and takes check orders.
  • Opens consumer and business accounts.
  • Balances debit cards daily.
  • Assist back up for ATM balancing daily.
  • Works courier schedule daily.
  • Assist with backup vault duties.
  • Complies with CIP requirements.
  • Possesses a helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
  • Has prompt and regular attendance.
  • Uses Deposit Horizons daily and completes the tracking information.
  • Seeks expanded deposit and loan relationships with customers.
  • Sets goals for making referrals to contacts in the community.
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
  • Completes all training assigned to HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis.
  • Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.
    • Qualifications and Education Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience working directly with the public is preferred
    Preferred Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Excellent math skills
    • Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity
    • Tact and public relations expertise
    • Ability to work well with others
    Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
