Position: OR Nurse (RN) | Jackson, Missouri
An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in operating room procedures, specifically in general surgery, urology, and gynecology, including robotic-assisted surgeries. This contract position offers a dynamic clinical environment supporting advanced surgical technology such as DaVinci Xi robotic systems, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning.

Schedule &

Hours:

• Day shift
• Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10)
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Rotating weekends on call approximately every 6-7 days, with some scheduled late shifts (not call but on-site as needed)
• Up to three Fridays or Mondays off every six weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate during general surgery procedures encompassing urology, gynecology, and orthopedic cases
• Support robotic-assisted surgeries using the DaVinci Xi platform
• Manage patient positioning including arthroscopy and arthroplasty with specialized equipment (Hana Table, Arthrex tower, Beach Chair)
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and communication

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of operating room nursing experience, including general surgery with urology and gynecology cases
• Proficient with DaVinci Xi robotic system and orthopedic surgical positioning equipment
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Able to work as a flexible, team-oriented professional who adapts to various surgical cases

Additional Requirements:

• Flu vaccination required for travel assignments Nov 1-Apr 1 (exemptions must be client-approved)
• Strict adherence to dress code with hospital-provided or black scrubs only
