As an RN-Specialty, you will:

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
• Maintain professional accountability for your assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with various departments.

Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, 1701 Lacey Street, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701

Department: Cardiovascular Consultants Clinic

Hours/Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week), Days

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; comparable education experience will be considered.
• Licensure: Current LPN license in the state of practice, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Experience: Open to both new and experienced LPNs.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

  Depending on the position, certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and others may be required within a specified timeframe.

This role involves:

• Prolonged standing and walking throughout your shift.
• Regularly pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Performing tasks that require bending, stooping, gripping, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
