Overview
Join for the SE Weekender LPN - Cardiac Progressive Care role at Mercy
. This position utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider or RN. The LPN maintains professional accountability, coordinates care with other departments, safeguards patient rights, and performs duties consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.
Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO
Department: 4H Cardiac Progressive Care
Status: Part-Time – 24 hrs/week – Weekends
Shift: 12‑Hour Days (Sat & Sun, 7:00 am – 7:30 pm)
Up to $2,000 Sign‑On Bonus – No Contract Required.
Qualifications- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Licensure: Maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly; prolonged standing and walking; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
- Experience: Preferred but not required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion of course within 30 days of hire. Unit‑specific certifications as required.
