SE Weekender LPN - Cardiac Progressive Care

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) . Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.

Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO Department: 4H Cardiac Progressive Care Status:
Part-Time - 24hrs/week - Weekends

Shift: 12 Hour Days (Sat & Sun, 7:00am - 7:30pm)

* Qualifications:

* Education :
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
* Licensure :
Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
* Physical Requirements/Demands :
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
* Experience :
Experience preferred but not required.
* Certifications :
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required. Why Mercy?
