Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO
Department: Operating Room
Status: Full-Time - 40 hours/week
Shift: 8 Hour Days (Mon-Fri) with additional call hours

In our Operating Room, you will:
- Provide compassionate care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with preop staff, anesthesia providers, surgeons, and recovery staff.
- Train on equipment, proper patient positioning, and documentation.
- Have opportunities to cross-train and advance to scrub or First Assist roles.
- Experience: 1 year of RN and/or previous OR experience preferred but not required.
- Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Must maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS as needed.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking required each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
