As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care of your assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care with various departments to ensure seamless service.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform your duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO

Department: 4E Neuro

Status: Full-Time - 36 hours/week

Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

• Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other unit-specific certifications as needed.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Prolonged standing and walking required each shift.
  • Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
