At Mercy Hospital’s Cardiac Pavilion, we are looking for dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional care in our cardiac intermediate unit. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will:

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with various departments.
• Uphold patient rights and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO

Department: Cardiac Pavilion (Cardiac Med Intermediate)

Status: Full-Time - 36 hours/week

Shift: 12 Hour Nights - (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

• BSN to MSN Bridging Program (up to $16,000) to support your journey towards an MSN.

• Participate in our RN Loan Forgiveness Program to help manage your student loan debt.

• Receive up to $370 per month towards loan payments (with a $20,000 cap).

• Must start with Mercy within 12 months of graduation.

• Experience: 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
• Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Must maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Prolonged standing and walking required each shift.
  • Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
