Job GoalTo insure safety and welfare of handicapped children to and from school
Essential Functions- Ensures the safe operation of buses and the arrival of students through maintaining orderly conduct and ensuring that bus safety practices are adhered to
- Assists the bus driver in backing up or driving in hazardous situations
- Assists in enforcing rules and providing discipline to children as necessary
- Performs other related duties as requested or assigned
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
Salary Information- Classification:
Attendant, Bus - Scale:
Classified - Grade: A
- Days Employed: 184 days per school year
- Range: $12.50 per hour
- Overtime:
Non-exempt - Position Type: Full-Time
