The Mississippi Department of Transportation is responsible for providing a safe intermodal transportation network that is planned, designed, constructed, and maintained in an effective, cost efficient, and environmentally sensitive manner.

The Warehouse Associate III at the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) Sign Shop in the Traffic Engineering Division plays a key role in managing inventory, ensuring quality control, and providing logistical support. This position is vital to the smooth operation of the Sign Shop, which supports traffic safety and infrastructure maintenance across the state.

• Oversee a major warehouse area, ensuring proper storage and organization of materials.
• Receive, store, and distribute materials necessary for sign fabrication and maintenance.
• Inspect incoming items to confirm they meet specifications, reject nonconforming shipments, and certify receipts for vendor payments.
• Organize inventory and prepare materials for distribution.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet supply needs.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts as required.

High School Diploma or equivalent; 2-4 years of relevant experience.
