About the Agency

This position is with the Division of Youth Services and will be at Oakley Youth Development Center in Raymond, MS.

Responsibilities

Third-level vocational Youth Services employee responsible for ensuring safety and security and providing treatment services to youth within a specific unit. Ensuring safety includes monitoring activity, behavior, and movement of youth both within a residential setting or while escorting youth off grounds and performing physical counts. Employees also facilitate treatment programming to youth (e.g., youth advocate, group facilitation, create and/or deliver treatment activities, etc.).

Employee may also assist in the educational program.
