Job Summary:

The Research Assistant provides essential support for laboratory research activities. This position is responsible for assisting with laboratory procedures, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring a well-organized and efficient research environment. ** Degree in science field of biology, chemistry, or a related field. Laboratory experience (through coursework or employment)## Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
** Responsibilities:
*** Perform routine laboratory tasks, including preparing solutions, reagents, and media.
* Assist with basic experimental procedures under supervision.
* Maintain and clean laboratory equipment, ensuring proper operation.
* Collect, label, and process biological samples according to standard protocols.
* Accurately record data in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
* Assist in inventory management and ordering laboratory supplies.
* May assist in animal husbandry, collection of physiological data, and euthanasia.
