Overview

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Full Time at Jackson Hospital, Henry Ford Health. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CRNA to join our anesthesia care team.

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

• Moderate physical activity; ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations with safety precautions and PPE as required.
• Typical interior/office work environment with opportunities for varied shifts.
• May handle blood or blood-borne pathogens; OSHA training required.
• Shift mix includes 8-12 hour shifts with potential to transition to longer shifts; minimal call; high degree of autonomy.

• Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• State of Michigan RN License;
  State Specialty Certification; CRNA Certification; ALS/BLS
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia; ability to work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers.

• Experience administering intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics; airway management for codes and ED traumas.
• Experience with a variety of cases (Ortho, Neuro, vascular, general, trauma, bariatric, plastics, thoracic, robotic, cysto, OB) and obstetric epidurals.

• CME allowance of $1500 per year plus one-week paid education leave; $1,000 per year for professional memberships, AANA dues, subscriptions, licensure, and certification.
• Sign-on bonus of $30,000 for experienced CRNAs and new grads; current CRNA students in final year encouraged to apply.
