RN Supervisor or ; M-F

JOB SUMMARY

The primary purpose of your position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants.

• Organize and assign all jobs to be done during a tour of duty so that the workload is evenly distributed among nursing personnel based on staff qualifications, the size of the facility, and its physical layout.
• Periodically review department policies, procedures, and job descriptions and make recommendations for revisions.
• Implement established policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Meet with your assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan your shift's appropriate services, programs, and activities.
• Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure the resident’s care plans are followed.
• Participate in developing, maintaining, and implementing the facility’s quality assurance program.

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduate from an approved school of professional nursing.

• A minimum of one year’s nursing experience required.
• Supervisory experience with Nursing Assistants.
