Supervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervisory position responsible for the overall management of an assigned unit. At this level, employees serve in a supervisory capacity and coordinate the direct treatment for a group of youth committed or assigned to the facility as well as all the activities involved in the daily operation of a living unit, including safety and security (e.g., delegation of case management responsibilities, coordination of youth appointments, point of contact for families and various other professionals).
Employee supervision includes hire recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.

Typically requires a Master’s Degree and 3‑4 years of youth treatment experience and/or relevant certification.
