Senior Associate, Tax Talent Strategy role at KPMG US

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Tax Talent strategic projects and initiatives, focusing on People Experience and Development, Workforce Evolution, and Culture, Wellbeing & Inclusion strategies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the collective Tax voice is represented and execute the continuous listening strategy for Tax, leveraging people councils, surveys, and other channels; plan and execute virtual and in‑person meetings.
  • Prepare high‑quality strategic materials (communications, presentations, reports, white papers) for leaders and stakeholders; facilitate large group meetings and present strategic materials to Tax leadership.
  • Assist with planning and execution of team meetings, workshops, internal conferences, and trainings: strategy, agendas, budget, logistics, participant management, session materials, and synthesizing outputs.
  • Utilize strong writing skills to develop clear, impactful communications and materials supporting initiatives that enhance the experience and development of Tax personnel.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders and functional counterparts to execute the Tax Talent Strategy mission, support overall team management activities such as note‑taking, action tracking, status reports, and maintain SharePoint & collateral, including development and maintenance of Tax talent resources and portal content.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of recent experience in Human Resources, Human Capital Advisory, Talent Strategy, Organizational Effectiveness, Behavioral Science, or related fields—preferably within a large professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
  • Strong writing skills, proficient in project planning, and creating presentation decks; experience using AI tools; ability to provide meaningful insights and recommendations for the broader employee experience.
  • Solid facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively support meetings, workshops, and group discussions.
  • Passionate about enhancing employee experience, open to feedback, and committed to exploring diverse perspectives.
  • Self‑directed with a learner’s mindset, curiosity, high emotional intelligence, and innovative mindset to drive creative solutions; strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without needing employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future. KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.
Compensation

California Salary Range: $71,900 - $143,500
