Custodian Position

We are hiring substitute custodians in No previous experience is required!

Remember that school district employee who made a difference in your life? Now it’s your turn! Substitutes are essential in ensuring students continue to learn and grow every day in a safe and clean environment. Substitute custodians may also be referred to as custodial workers or maintenance workers.

Working in a school district is rewarding. We would love for you to join our team.

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions
• Willing to learn and accept responsibility
• Pass drug screening test as outlined by district
• Heavy lifting 50-75 lbs.

• Remove litter and wastepaper from classroom, offices and grounds; deposits in provided receptacles
• Maintain carpet and other floor surfaces
• Clean windows, light fixtures, venetian blinds, walkways, storage rooms, unity rooms and restrooms
• Perform minor maintenance repairs to building and equipment
• Report any needed repairs and malfunctions to maintenance for correction
• Perform other related duties as requested or assigned
• Attend any professional development activities as needed

• Ability to build a flexible work schedule that works for you
• Ability to select your preferred school locations
• Weekly pay
