The selected candidate will be responsible for providing mid to upper-level systems support within a Local Area Network (LAN) environment; installs, configures, and maintains computer hardware (this includes but is not limited to servers, desktops, laptops, printers, etc), software, and peripheral equipment to ensure reliable system performance and end-user productivity; provides technical assistance by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely and professional manner;
assists with network administration functions such as creating, modifying, and maintaining user accounts; managing system permissions; and supporting daily operational needs of networked systems; works closely with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed; performs preventive maintenance on computer systems, maintaining accurate hardware and software inventories, and ensuring that systems comply with organizational standards; transports and deploys equipment across various on-campus and off-campus locations.
Other duties may be assigned to support departmental operations. Qualified applicants should have a working knowledge of Local Area Networks (LANs), experience maintaining systems in a networked environment, and a working knowledge of Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2025 operating systems is required. Applicants should also demonstrate proficiency with Windows 11.
Typical requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4+ years of IT experience with emphasis in system administration.
