To deliver professional, therapeutic and rejuvenating massage therapies and body treatments to spa guests while being a productive and active team member of the Spa.

• Call in to confirm all appointments scheduled for the day.
• Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the first appointment and be available within one hour during any shift.
• Greet guests with a smile, maintain eye contact, and use the guest’s surname.
• Ensure guests fully understand the service, are comfortable, and do not diagnose medical conditions.
• Provide quality, safe, consistent, and ethical massage; check regularly for guest comfort and adjust pressure, temperature, light, and music as needed.
• Offer water to guests at the end of each service.
• Clean work areas after treatment, leaving rooms presentable for the next guest and staff member.
• Complete side work such as separating linens, wiping counters, refilling oil bottles, and cleaning hot cabbies.
• Adjust table height for ergonomic standards.
• Participate in required training and attend all monthly/quarterly staff meetings.
• Check in with Spa Concierge/Front Desk Attendant when arriving and leaving the spa.
• Abide by National Board of Massage Certification regulations and any higher local/state standards.
• Perform at least two guest contact services per month and participate in marketing activities, such as chair massage and event attendance, where required.

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Communicate well with guests and resolve problems promptly.
• Willing to pitch in and assist co‑workers; be a team player.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
• Hold local and/or state certification or license.
• Minimum 200 hours of massage education and 2 years of professional experience preferred.
