The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will report directly to the Regional Vice President and act as the senior operational leader for Mississippi Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center, including all clinical practices and the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). This role is responsible for driving organizational performance through strategic leadership, operational excellence, physician partnership, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
The CEO will provide executive oversight to all Directors and senior leaders across clinic operations and ASC operations, ensuring alignment of strategy, quality, financial performance, and patient experience across the enterprise.

- Provide executive leadership and operational oversight for all clinic entities and the Ambulatory Surgery Center
- Directly lead and develop all Directors and senior management team members across clinical, administrative, and ASC operations
- Drive talent development, succession planning, performance management, and retention strategies for leadership teams
- Establish and manage productivity, quality, and financial performance metrics across the organization
- Develop and manage the operating and capital budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support growth and efficiency
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market expansion
- Partner with physician leadership to strengthen alignment, governance, and operational decision-making
- Foster collaboration and best practice sharing across clinic and ASC leadership teams
- Champion patient experience initiatives and continuous quality improvement
- Oversee infrastructure development and leverage technology to improve access, efficiency, and clinical outcomes
- Ensure regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and risk management across all operations
- Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence
- Position the organization as the employer and healthcare partner of choice in the market
- Actively participate in the Operations Leadership Team and enterprise strategy initiatives
- Lead change management and performance transformation efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field;
Master’s degree preferred (MHA, MBA, or similar) - Minimum of ten (10) years of senior executive leadership experience in orthopedics or a closely related healthcare field
- Minimum of five (5) years of physician practice management experience preferred
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) operational leadership experience strongly preferred
- Experience in value-based care models and managed care contracting preferred
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-site healthcare operations
- Proven analytical, financial, and operational decision-making skills
- Exceptional ability to influence, collaborate, and lead across physician and executive teams
- Ownership mentality with a strong results orientation
- Self-motivated leader committed to continuous learning and professional growth
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
