Registered Nurse - Med Surg-Cardiac ; Nights

Coordinates and delivers patient care using the healthcare team philosophy practice model. Responsible for patient teaching, discharge planning, and coordinating activities with ancillary departments. Maintains standards of the department and hospital.

• Plan, organize, and direct nursing care for patients.
• Implement patient care plans and physician orders accurately.
• Assign tasks based on staff skill levels.
• Administer medications and IV solutions correctly.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure availability of supplies and equipment.
• Participate in safety and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Support hospital policies and procedures.

• Prolonged standing, walking, or sitting.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, repositioning patients.
• Reaching, bending, and other physical activities required for patient care.
• Visual, auditory, and manual dexterity skills necessary.
• Ability to work effectively under stress in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum one year of RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Mississippi RN license and BLS certification.
• Ability to recognize patient needs, communicate effectively, and exercise good judgment.
• Willing to rotate shifts, work overtime if needed.
