Collaborate in the planning, development, and implementation of goals and objectives related to accreditation, certification, regulatory, federal, and state requirements. Coordinate gathering and distribution of data to support these clinical and regulatory programs. Conduct portions of the medical staff performance improvement process including profiling to maintain and improve the quality of care and service. Provide consultation to physicians, staff, PI teams, and departments regarding improvement methodologies and processes.
Report to Director of Quality. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate, implement, and evaluate hospital and medical staff performance improvement activities.
- Coordinate, implement, and evaluate clinical quality initiatives for external comparative benchmarking.
- Coordinate and facilitate accreditation and regulatory compliance processes.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, external entities.
- Educate hospital staff and physicians regarding performance improvement tools and techniques.
- Contribute to preparation for accreditation, certification, and surveys.
- Complete chart abstraction and data analysis.
- Assist with development, implementation, and evaluation of quality plan and performance improvement initiatives.
- Direct community education and prevention programs.
- Identify trends for strategic planning and performance improvement.
- Complete assigned goals.
- Registered Nurse.
- 5 years of experience in a clinical setting; preference for previous experience in quality and performance improvement.
