Job Summary: Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates understanding of radiologic principles/theory and utilizes appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal procedures.

Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.

Completes documentation to comply with policies.

Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, neat condition.

Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure quality patient care.

Completes assigned goals.

Minimum Requirements:

6 months experience in specialty area meeting all CT competencies by end of orientation.

Education:

Registered by ARRT in Radiography (R) required; CT registry (CT) preferred. BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Skills:

Basic computer literacy skills.

Licensure:

State license as required; BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ARRT(R); ARRT(CT) preferred.
