Texas Licensed Indirect Tax Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Indirect Tax Accountant.

Key Responsibilities Support indirect tax compliance activities, including sales and use tax, beverage taxes, unclaimed property, and bottle deposit reporting Review and analyze general ledger tax account reconciliations and journal entries for accuracy and compliance Oversee indirect tax filings and compliance work prepared by internal teams and third-party service providers

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Three or more years of experience in sales and use tax and/or accounting Experience reconciling financially based records and general ledger accounts Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
