The GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary.

Position Highlights:

• Provides guidance and clinical supervision for the nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and health technicians assigned to the Surgical Service when appropriate.
• Provides guidance and supervision for the medical students and residents assigned to the Surgical Service
• Participates and attends medical center committee meetings as assigned by the Chief, Surgical Service in his/her absence.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and expansion of programs in the Surgical Service,

• Tour of duty (schedule):
  
  Monday - Friday 08:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Basic Requirements:

• Board-certified/board-eligible
• Unrestricted U.S. medical license
• Citizenship:
  Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
• Salary: $285,000-$400,000
