As a Brand Ambassador for Jackson Hewitt
, you serve as the public face of the company during the peak tax season. Your primary goal is to drive brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and ensure every potential client has a positive first impression of our services. You will engage with the community both at physical office locations and high-traffic areas like Walmart kiosks or local events.
- Outreach & Lead Generation: Distribute promotional materials such as flyers, business cards, and door hangers in approved high-traffic areas and local businesses.
- Client Engagement: Proactively greet and engage potential clients in professional conversations to explain Jackson Hewitt’s current promotions and services.
- Brand Presentation: Ensure office or kiosk locations meet all brand and marketing appearance standards, including the setup of signage and promotional displays.
- Appointment Management: Assist potential clients with scheduling tax preparation appointments and follow up with past clients to encourage return visits.
- Social Media Advocacy: Share company promotions and approved tax tips on personal social media platforms to expand digital reach.
- On-site Support: Monitor client flow at kiosks or offices, keeping waiting clients engaged and answering basic inquiries about the tax filing process.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently approach and speak with strangers.
- Technical Basics: Basic computer proficiency for entering customer data and managing schedules.
- Attributes: High energy, outgoing personality, and a professional demeanor while handling sensitive information.
- Requirements: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; ability to stand or sit for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexible seasonal scheduling (January–April).
- Travel to multiple offices including Wal-Mart locations
