Job Summary:
On behalf of our client who is a national brand restoration company, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee the large loss reconstruction projects of residential homes and commercial properties affected by significant fire and flood damage. The Reconstruction Project Manager will manage both residential and commercial reconstruction projects from first homeowner meeting through project completion and collection while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
If you have experience in insurance restoration, fire damage repair, or water damage reconstruction, this is a high-ownership opportunity with strong income potential and a healthy team culture.
This is a full-cycle Reconstruction PM role. You will manage everything except writing the estimate.
Project Intake & Sales- Respond to new reconstruction opportunities (fire, water, storm, large loss)
- Meet with property owners to assess damage
- Scope projects and document losses (photos, notes, measurements)
- Build trust and secure the job
- Turn documentation over to the estimator
- Coordinate with estimator during estimate preparation
- Work with insurance carriers to obtain approval
- Manage change orders and required documentation
- Manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects
- Hire, vet, and manage subcontractors
- Coordinate with mitigation department
- Schedule trades and oversee quality control
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Monitor job budgets
- Oversee billing and collections
- Close out projects successfully
- 5+ years of experience in restoration or construction project management
- Experience with insurance claims and reconstruction process
- Ability to manage small and large loss projects
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and subcontractor management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive, team-oriented mindset
- High integrity and accountability
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check
- Competitive base salary of $80,000-$100,000 commensurate with experience with commission/bonus based on productivity.
