SEH Asphalt – Sizewell C, Suffolk

SEH Asphalt is a well‑established surfacing contractor based in Nedging, Suffolk. We deliver a wide range of asphalt and surfacing works across East Anglia for commercial, industrial and infrastructure clients. We are looking to recruit an Operations Supervisor to support our operational teams and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of works across the region.

This mobile role covers projects across East Anglia, with regular travel to site. You will coordinate daily surfacing operations, working closely with foremen, operatives, plant suppliers and management to ensure sites are prepared, resourced and delivered safely and to programme.

• Ensure foremen and site teams have the correct information, materials and tools for daily works
• Measure and dip jobs prior to works being undertaken
• Order asphalt deliveries and coordinate plant movements
• Produce RAMS and ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures
• Deliver toolbox talks and communicate safety information to site teams
• Visit live sites regularly to monitor progress, quality and safety standards
• Maintain accurate site records and produce reports to support invoicing and commercial processes

You will have previous experience in surfacing, highways, civils or groundworks operations and be comfortable working across multiple sites and managing daily priorities.

You will possess strong communication skills and be able to liaise effectively with site teams and suppliers.

Basic IT skills, including the use of email and simple reporting tools, are required.

A full UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role and the requirement to travel across East Anglia.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
