Position: READY MIX SALES MANAGER

Ready Mix Sales Manager – Delta Industries, Inc.

Delta Industries, Inc. is a trusted regional construction materials supplier with a history of excellence since 1945. We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Sales Manager to lead our ready‑mix concrete sales activity in a defined geographic area. The ideal candidate will develop sales strategies, manage key accounts, mentor the sales team, and drive revenue growth across our target markets. This role requires a deep understanding of the construction and building materials industry, especially concrete and related products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet company revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction, infrastructure, and real estate sectors.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key accounts, contractors, developers, and consultants.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the sales team in achieving individual and team sales targets.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with customers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in the ready‑mix concrete or construction materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of, or ability to quickly understand, ready‑mix concrete products, applications, and customer segments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
Preferred Skills
  • Existing network within the local construction industry.
  • Understanding of batching plants, logistics, and quality control in concrete production.

Actual compensation will be based on experience and skill set.
