Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist / Customer Service Representative to join our team for the current tax season. This is a seasonal position ending on April 16, 2026
, and is ideal for someone looking to gain hands‑on office experience and learn the basics of tax preparation.
This role does not involve answering incoming calls. Instead, you will be making outgoing calls to clients and working closely with our call center to ensure clear communication and timely follow‑ups.
Responsibilities- Making outgoing calls to clients for follow‑ups, information requests, and appointment‑related communication
- Communicating frequently with the call center to relay updates and client needs
- Greeting clients in person in a professional and friendly manner
- Scanning, filing, and organizing documents accurately
- Assisting with basic administrative tasks and data entry
- Using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office for daily tasks
- Supporting the office team during busy periods
- Learning and assisting with basic tax preparation processes (training provided)
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable making outgoing phone calls and communicating with clients
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to learn new systems and processes
- Reliable, punctual, and able to start immediately
- Must be available to work weekends
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week, spread across 4‑5 days
