Pay Rate$35–36 per hour
SummaryThe Real Estate Title Agent V is responsible for reviewing, validating, and supporting documentation related to land rights, real estate agreements, and conveyance instruments. This role works with high accuracy and independence to ensure that land records are complete, compliant, and properly documented. The position requires strong experience in land title research, legal descriptions, and the preparation of chains of title.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities are essential.
- Review and interpret a wide range of conveyance documents such as fee simple, rights-of-way, leases, easements, licenses, permits, and releases.
- Perform internal and external due diligence to verify accuracy and completeness of land rights.
- Identify deficiencies requiring curative action and escalate issues when necessary.
- Conduct courthouse and government-office research to compile and prepare chains of title.
- Interpret and validate land legal descriptions with strong attention to detail.
- Apply established processes, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Organize and manage workload independently while adapting to shifting demands and deadlines.
- Prepare spreadsheets and documentation to support real estate and right-of-way operations.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience within the Right-of-Way or Real Estate industry.
- At least 1 year working as a Title Agent.
- Strong knowledge of settlement instruments and real estate contract terminology.
- Advanced ability to read and interpret legal land descriptions.
- Proven proficiency conducting title research in courthouse/government environments.
- Ability to independently prepare accurate chains of title.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience identifying and resolving curative title issues.
- Strong analytical and documentation accuracy.
- Familiarity working with structured real estate processes and compliance workflows.
