- Recent graduate of an accredited nursing program
- RN license required prior to start of employment
- Less than one year of professional nursing experience
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Develop real-world experience delivering care to patients and collaborating with other health team members in a variety of scenarios
- Utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department
- Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions, working closely under the supervision of experienced nursing staff, physicians and other healthcare providers
