The Clinical Supervisor assists or supports the clinic administratively and clinically, overseeing supervisory planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling activities. The Clinical Supervisor manages patient flow, triage, and provides direct patient care, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations of the clinic and optimal use of resources to maximize productivity. The role fosters a collaborative environment of respect with physician colleagues, nurses, and other healthcare team members.

• Assists the Practice Manager in daily clinical and operational aspects, including staff scheduling and monitoring provider clinic schedules to ensure effective resource management and quality improvement.
• Participates in talent life cycle management, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, orientation, mentoring, development, engagement, retention, performance management, and timekeeping.
• Maintains a safe and caring environment for patients that encourages positive health teaching and maintenance, meeting patient and family expectations for care while implementing mechanisms for culturally specific care.
• Responds to patient and family concerns or complaints with sensitivity and compassion in a timely fashion.
• Creates and maintains a supportive work environment for the entire team, promoting professionalism in clinic culture and appearance.
• Collaborates with the Practice Manager and physicians to establish patient care standards and evaluate staff compliance, serving as a mentor for excellence in clinical practice and patient and employee satisfaction.
• Maintains clinical relevance by continuing education, keeping current on topics in clinical, management, and health care, and ordering/maintaining appropriate medical supplies and coordinating with other departments as needed.

• Graduate of an approved certified program of medical assisting; graduate of an approved school of practical nursing strongly preferred.
• Current Certified/Registered Medical Assistant certification; current Missouri LPN license strongly preferred.
• 4 years experience in physician office setting; previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a patient‑centered mindset.
